Wool, cotton, linen, rayon, 5″x7′

Two small tapestry pieces were woven with a combination of wool, rayon, cotton, linen, and a natural brown yarn handspun from Norwegian spelsau wool from a local farm in Western Norway. The tapestries were combined into a 5×7 postcard that was mailed to Oaxaca, Mexico for a traveling tapestry mail art exhibition there. Both tapestries include a contrasting thread through the grid of the weave, serving as a record of the weavers journey through the process of creating the piece.
