This work was woven with a combination of natural and synthetic yarns as well as raw, unspun wool from the region around Bergen, Norway. It was brought up a mountain just outside the city by a group including the artist and audience for the opening, and installed in Galleri Kronborg, a ruined stone building originally used by farmers to store feed for sheep. The exhibition reflects on how the textiles we make reflect the environment we come from, even as they provide a way for us to interact with it.
